• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Additional PHP directives deleted after Plesk automatic update

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

Last Plesk version on August 17, Almalinux 9, PHP8

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

It occasionally happens, following a Plesk update, that the additional PHP directives for certain sites are deleted. The issue has occurred on sites running PHP 8 on a server with AlmaLinux 9 and an up-to-date version of Plesk.

For exemple :
default_charset = "ISO-8859-1"
auto_prepend_file=/var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxx/httpdocs/vendor/autoload.php
was deleted last year only on one site.

The last August 17
auto_prepend_file=/var/www/vhosts/yyyyyyyy/httpdocs/vendor/autoload.php
was deleted only on one site.

This issue is all the more strange because it does not affect all sites, but only one site occasionally and, seemingly, always a different one. The frequency of the problem is about once a year.
