• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Administrator can't see Protected Password Directories??

Caspar MilanN

New Pleskian
I have another problem, where permissions and user roles don't make any sense.

For the specific plan, and I can see it being granted when I look at the domain, Password-protected directories management is on.

But with the 'Domain Administrator' user role, it doesn't show up in the panel!

This is from that user role:
Manage users and roles = DENIED
Create and manage sites = DENIED
Configure log rotation = GRANTED
Configure anonymous FTP service = DENIED
Create and manage scheduled tasks = DENIED
Configure spam filter = GRANTED
Configure antivirus = GRANTED
Create and manage databases = GRANTED
Configure and perform data backup and restoration = GRANTED
View statistics = GRANTED
Install and manage applications = DENIED
Design sites in Presence Builder = DENIED
Upload and manage files = DENIED
Create and manage additional FTP accounts = DENIED
Manage DNS settings = GRANTED
Install and manage Java applications = DENIED
Create and manage mail accounts = GRANTED
Create and manage mailing lists = DENIED
Publish files on the Web = DENIED

What do I need to do, to make Password-protected directories management show up for that user??

/Caspar
