  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

After installation of SSL Certificate the certificate is not available on the hosting

Basic Pleskian
Hi there,

on my plesk 11.5 i ve installed through server settings an certificate from DigiCert.com but wenn i would choose it in Domain Hosting Settings there ist no Certificate available to enable it, why?

cheers

Why don't you just add the respective SSL directly through the client's account!

You should install the Certificate via the SSL option within the Domain. The option for adding a certificate via the Server option is mainly for securing the panel. You can copy the Certificate, CSR and Private Key and use them in the domain - you don't have to reissue the certificate.

Having said that, you can go the the IP Address section, and assign the certificate you installed in the Servers section to be the default for a particular IP. If you do so, you may then get the option to select that certificate from within the domain settings itself.
