  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

After migration, most of my hostings are of type "custom" now

Silver Pleskian
After migrating from Plesk 9 to Plesk 10.4, most of my hostings are now of type "Custom" instead of my predefined L50, L200, etc hosting names. I also noticed that some of them now allow for 10 domains whereas before migration, they only allowed 1 domains each.
Is there a way to mass-change them to the correct type?

Thanks, -t

Are your Service Plans defined in Plesk 10 the same as they were for Plesk 9?

If so, you can go to Subscriptions, then tick all the subscriptions for one plan and assign them, then do it again for the next plan etc. You should be able to get an idea of what the subscription was before by hovering over the (?) in the subscription list for each subscription.

If your service plans are not listed then you'll need to re-define them before doing the above.
