After WordPress update 3 - several Broken instance

Brujo

Silver Pleskian
Plesk Guru
Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS‬
Plesk Onyx Version 17.5.3 Update #43
WordPress Toolkit version 3.0.1-840

since the WP Toolkit upgraded today some Wordpress Instances are now shown with "Broken instance" and this error message in the plesk panel and in the panel.log
[2018-03-07 20:17:42] ERR [panel] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /opt/psa/admin/plib/modules/wp-toolkit/vendor/guzzlehttp/psr7/src/functions.php on line 78

so I detached one of the broken wp instance via wp toolkit and scaned again but get the same error message.

unfortunately this now broken instances still use PHP Version 5.3.29, all "non broken" have 7.1.x or 7.2.x

Hello,

We confirm bug EXTWPTOOLK-1354, it will be fixed in neares update of WordPress Toolkit. I apologize for inconvenience.

When is the Wordpress Tookit update coming? Soon, I hope. This is .... inconvenient. I saw a recommendation to switch to PHP 3.54 Apache PHP-FPM but that didn't fix it.

Installation "/httpdocs": PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/modules/wp-toolkit/vendor/guzzlehttp/psr7/src/functions.php on line 78

How about fixing it soon. This situation leaves half my Wordpress customers open to attacks and plugin issues that I can't address for them. Don't put it off to a "convenient" time. Otherwise we need correct information for a workaround.

Upgrading to PHP 7.0.28 doesn't solve the problem for me and I don't have any PHP beyond that available in Plesk.

We a working on this issue now and update will be published as soon as we can.

Switching domain, on which WordPress installed, to PHP 5.4 or above will help to avoide issue. After refreshing, instance will not be broken anymore.

Hi, I have changed all my broken Domains to 5.6.12 (*edit: some oft them already were on that version) and refreshed but the instances are still broken. I followed this article.
Any suggestions?

Could you please go to the instance details, click Refresh button and list here an error message which will be displayed?

Did you perform any other manipulations with toolkit, like removing and subsequent re-installtion? Could you please check current WordPress administrator username and password in toolkit (link "change login settings" at the instance details page)?

It seems that you are right. I checked login settings for some instances and password was missing. This didn't happened to all instances.
Thank you.
