Question Almalinux or Rocky Linux?

Simple question really (or not)

Need to upgrade from CentOs 7.9, but do I go to Almalinux or Rocky Linux?

From what I can see they are much of a muchness apart from a slight difference in the way that they handle security.
Probably not going to upgrade the system but rebuild the server with a clean install.

Any preferences, experiences good or bad?

Both are excellent Linux distros, but Alma is the preferred choice for Plesk. In fact, if your are going for a clean install, you could go for Alma 9. If the known Alma 9 limitations don't bother you, of course.

Its going to have to be 8 for now as containers not supported in 9 yet.
