• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

anti-Virus alternative to "Dr.Web" ??

Hello All:

A "Dr.Web" anti-virus license for Plesk cost $299 PER YEAR !!!

Is there any free alternative? I see that atomicrocketturtle.com has a Dr.Web RPM installer -- but I guess the license is in this case still needed, yes?
http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/psa-7.5/3ES/RPMS/

So, is there a good alternative, some anti-Virus software that does run on a RHEL 3, but not directly under Plesk ?

Thanks!
John

You were looking in the right place. Try atomicrocketturtle.com's qmail scanner with Spamassassin and ClamAV.

Thanks a lot .... had this installed, I think, on version 7 of Plesk -- worked fine then, except creating relatively high server load. But okay. Thanks again.
