• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Any way to disable mail entirely?

TimU

New Pleskian
We want our customers to be able to use external email servers not on Plesk 10. For single domains, this can be accomplished by:

/usr/local/psa/bin/domain -u exampledomain.com -mail_service false

Is there a way to accomplish that ^ but on a level such that all domains provisioned will be that way by default? Is there a way outside of manually entering domains one at a time to to resolve this for existing domains?

Thanks,

Might be you can try :-

/usr/local/psa/bin/domain -u * -mail_service false

And then change the domain template to use external mx record and webmail ip

I am uncertain if that will work.

I had tried /usr/local/psa/bin/domain -u * -mail_service false

and received the following:

Cannot recognize option 'ai_prefs'
