apache died and will not restart

I updated a couple of modules with the plesk updater and installed an application vault package on a domain and then my webserver died.

i have perused the forum and connot find a thread that addresses my predicament directly...lots of similar issues but the solutions do not work for me....

here is the error...

Unable to make action: Unable to manage service by websrvmng: websrvmng: Service httpd failed to start

and also this...

0: /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/server/restart_services.php:19 psaerror(string "Unable to make action: Unable to manage service by websrvmng: websrvmng: Service httpd failed to start")

this is a production server and need to get it up...any ideas?


{edit} rebooted the server completely and apache restarts...but this is still disturbing.

the section in question would be where it caught the sigterm.

and apparrently i need to fix the certificate issue...can i just delete the plesk default certificate and create a self signed for now?
