• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Automated backup using plesk, how?

Where can you control the automated/scheduled backups in Plesk as administrator?

On the server it is easy, just start the backup utility and configure it but there is a major flaw in this utility.

When you have configured that only selected domains should be backupped and you add a new domain or client these are NOT backupped if you do not change the setup of the backup tool.

I miss an option or cannot find it in Plesk where I as an system administrator can easily check which domains/clients should be scheduled be backupped and which not.

Just as in the separate backup utility what is included but this should also be possible to control/setup from within Plesk itself!

Do I something wrong so I cannot find this option or is it really missing?
