Automated redirection to control panel

Hi,

I would like to reserve the subdomain name "control" (like webmail is) and I would like to setup the following redirection:

http://control.domain.tld ==> https://control.domain.tld:8443

to allow people to access their control panel directly by typing http://control.domain.tld

How can I do that ?

You could do this by modifying the .htaccess in the skeleton directory. So, when an account is setup .htaccess has the re-direct specified. Otherwise you'll have to write your own bash script to create a vhost.conf to do this accordingly, and then setup an post action when the account is setup.

Thank you for your advice. Can you tell me what I sould put in the .htaccess file to obtain this behavior ?
