• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Automic Update disabled- but mu Updates were installed

Basic Pleskian
Automatic Update disabled-but microupdates were installed

I had trouble with a mix of microupdates from different sources (Strato und Parallels).
Could not log in to Plesk anymore
Problem was solved here
http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=262600
It installed all mu from Paralleles Source up to #12 and i could login to Plesk again.

Today I saw MU #13 installed on the both servers.
My settings for Updates are:
1. Dont install automatic
2. Inform me vial Mail that an Update is available.

So i wonder why Updates were installed even though "automtic update" was disabled...???

year - i also have a question about this: where i can set the time and the day of the week or how often mu-updates will be installed... don't find anything about this - with plesk 10.4.4. mu-updates always installed on friday, now with plesk 11 mu-updates are installed on wednesday to thursday...

Could you please send login credentials of your server to me in PM? We will check it.

The exact description of "disable automatic updates" is
Notify me about available updates but do not automatically install them
Critical security updates will still be installed automatically.

I think you have got a security update installed.
