  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

AWstats user access issue

J. AlecW

New Pleskian
I'm using 11.5.30 on a Ubuntu (Linux) dedicated server. I set up a subdomain for a friend to use and assigned him a username/password with "administrator" status. The purpose being to allow him access to AWstats for his subdomain. And yet, when he attempts to access the AWstats page to see his subdomain stats, his username/password are not recognized.

I can't even access his AWstats page unless I use my personal administrator username/password. I get the impression that a simple solution to this issue exists ... but for some reason, it's elusive to me. Any guidance on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Regards,
J. Alec West
