• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Backing up and FTP - issues and alternative required ?

dicko_md

Basic Pleskian
Hi

Im using plesk 11.5.30 #35

Ive had the backup work but even though it was run by root and worked it allocated the space of the backup to the user and this caused issues as it put them over their quota......is there a fix for this ?

As the backup and FTP to another server is not working as it should. Does anybody have a working alternative ?

I would like to either backup once or twice a week direct to the backup server if possible and pick weather its full backup, incremental backup and which sites that I would like to backup.

Thanks in advance

Martyn

Have you tried contact Parallels Support Team with this issue?

Hi

No I have not as I have read many people having issues with backing up and using the repository to my external ftp on 11.5.30

Have you heard of the backup taking the users quota.....is this right ?

Thanks

Martyn
