Hi all,
I use plesk 8.4 with OpenSuse 10.1 x84.
I have set for all my domains the "Reject" optiond for drop the bounce to inexistent mail account.
If I try test it from my SMTP server works successfully:
telnet 84.18.157.18 25
Trying 84.18.157.18...
Connected to 84.18.157.18.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 srv1.fiftyweb.it ESMTP
helo none.none
250 srv1.fiftyweb.it
mail from: [email protected]
250 ok
rcpt to: [email protected]
550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.7.17)
data
503 RCPT first (#5.5.1)
quit
221 srv1.fiftyweb.it
Connection closed by foreign host.
The problem concern when a generic remote customer use for example a Yahoo SMTP server and wrong the mail account, for example the same of the precedent telnet example [email protected].
My SMTP server reply to Yahoo mail server with a copy of the original message and for this reason my SMTP server is in the backscatterer black list.
With this scenario I don't understand the problem and how fix it...
Any idea?
Thanking in advance and sorry for my english.
Giuliano
