• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Backup after misconfiguration

Basic Pleskian
Hey there.
I just want to make a backup of:
- my www
- my emails/emailsettings
- one specific folder
- mysql db's

But now there is a problem.
I need to backup that into a local folder. Can you tell me how to tell plesk WHERE to backup those files to?
I can't see a "output" folder setting in the backup manager.
Is there a current command line based backup possibility for plesk which suits my needs?

Thanks so far,
ony

Well I've read it now.
Thanks for posting it.

Anyways it doesn't work.
I just tried to backup following:
- am logged in into my account (as a user/client)
- client@3/domain@2/backup/create/
- select "domain configuration and content" (-- emailconfig and email data only)
- It is working. But then it fails. Telling me "Failed. Remove?".

The admin guide tells me to look up the logs under "/usr/local/psa/admin/PMM/".

Well such directory is not even existing!
