As I wonder about how to backup my system, I was reading through the forum, and I read many posts about problems with the backup.
I want to be able to restore my system completely, and had the following idea:
use plesk backup for client/domain backup, i.e. dbs, mail, ftp folders, htdocs, etc.
make a tar backup of plesk system.
The restore procedure would be:
- Reinstall OS
- Restore tar of plesk system
- Restore Data from Plesk backup
would that work, are there better solutions?
