  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Backup database

Jits04

New Pleskian
Good morning.

I can backup plesk (database and files) to local storage o remote storage. Unfortunally I can not schedule more than one remote backup, so I decided to by carbonite backup service from my provider Aruba.it. Are two remote storage is too much? I don't know, but I prefer to be cautious and have an extra way out.

From dashbaord carbonite I selected to backup local storage (in my case d:/plesk_backup).

So I have now three possibilities: 1) local storage 2) remote storage configured on plesk (onedrive business) 3) carbonite backup.

My question is simple. If something go wrong I can restore all d:/plesk_backup (or some files). After from backup manager console I can restore my webistes from myb restored local folder d:/plesk_backup. Is it correct?

Thanks

William
