What is your Plesk version and version of installed microupdate?

Have you tried backup this domain with enabled "Suspend domains until backup task is completed" option?

i deleted all the files in the var/session/ folder and it has worked. i didnt have to "Suspend domains"

the files are temporary files for shopping cart on magento.
in future should i just suspend domains? or will i have to delete the files. i want to set up a scheduled backup so dont really want to have to manually delete stuff that will make the backup fail.
