• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Backup Manager: Cannot dump domain hosting content

Paul Hermans

Basic Pleskian
When we make a server-wide backup via "Plesk > Tools & Settings > Backup Manager" we get this error:

Warning: domain "example.com"
Cannot dump domain hosting content[Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\example.com' is denied.]

This domain was previously renamed via "Plesk > Hosting Settings" and the path has been conserved from the previous domain, so the actual website data is in 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\renamed-domain.com'

I think this is a bug in Plesk. Can you please test, confirm and fix this?

Greetings Paul

It looks like database inconsistency. Most probably that you still have an old path in psa.hosting table for this dom_id. Try to correct it manually if

plesk repair db

will not help. Contact Plesk Support if it not helps.
