For only one domain I get this error in the daly domain.

Cannot dump database content DB_name a of type mysql'</message>
</object>
<object name="backup" type="backupowner">
<message code="ArgumentException" severity="error">Version string portion was too short or too long.</message>

All other DB and other files are backed up normal to a local disk.
Were do I find the version string and how to correct it?

Thanks,

Bastiaan

This exception is thrown when ASP.NET config backup is processing.
First ASP.NET 1.x is processed, but it actually isn't present on w2k8 - see HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ASP.NET.
PMM don't assume this, but catches this exception and goes to second - ASP 2.x processing.
Workaround http://forum.parallels.com/showpost.php?p=391898&postcount=5 should help with it.

I've already updated the psadumpagent.dll with the downloaded version, it made absolutely no difference.

This problem went away for about a week, now it's back again.

I've just realised it's a slightly different error this time, I've started a new thread. (I'd post a link but it takes half an hour for new posts to appear)

What sort of error now and are you sure that it is really related to initial described problem?
