Resolved Backup of Mysql databases fail

Hi guys,
Centos7.
Version 17.5.3 Update #54

regular backups fail with a lot of errors:

Warning: client "umx2"
client umx2 is skipped from backup due to error: Unable to connect to database: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2 "No such file or directory") at /usr/local/psa/PMM/agents/shared/Db/MysqlDbiBackend.pm line 62.

But:

# ls -la /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
srwxrwxrwx 1 mysql mysql 0 Aug  9 00:00 /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

Everything else works, sites are served,
plesk is working, but backups are failing.
Please help.

Hi, yes I tried this KB. I have no errors in mysql logs. Also No tables are crashed.

I just increased max allowed packet and wait timeout to see if it will help in case is 'Mysql done away problem'.

So this was resolved by moving backup plans of vps hypervisor and plesk in time
