  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Backup/Restore: Spam-Handling not restored (Bug?)

Bevan

Basic Pleskian
Hi!

On our server we're using spamassassin and custom user configurations (whether spam should be tagged, removed or moved to the "Spam" folder).

Yesterday we did the following:
- Backup on Debian Lenny, Plesk 10.4.4
- Installed Plesk 10.4.4 on a fresh Debian Squeeze
- Restore of the Backup on that new system

The result was that on the new system the settings (how to handle spam) were ignored. They were set correctly in Plesk panel (so they have been restored) but the mail server ignored them and always tagged and delivered the spam mails.

This problem could be fixed by running:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --spam-only

I think this could be a bug in the restore tool.

Greetings,
Michael
