Resolved Backup Task Is Stopping - Doesn't Finish

Hello, so, my question is. Is it safe to kill the task ?

The backup target is remote.
My concerns would be for any left overs resides in the server..

Any proper recommended steps to stop the task ?

*I can see the task Id from the URL after entering it in Plesk ui.
