Hi all,
I'm running RHEL3ES with Plesk 8.1.1
Actually, Mysql server is very very old (3.23.XXX) and i'd like to upgrade to a newer version.
As Plesk 8.1.1 release notes says that Plesk now supports Myql5, i wonder how i should proceed...
Support team seems to tell me that it support Mysql 5 BUT (as usually, there is always a BUT...) only if a native rpm package exists on the "original" Linux distribution...
But i can't find a rpm from redHat Network newer than 3.23.XX for mysql...
Does that mean i will never be able to upgrade Mysql on that server ?
PS : i found rpm on the www.mysql.com website for rhel3...so i'm very surprised.
Thanks
Florent
