Hi all,

I used to work with Cobalt but thats AOL so I move to plesk 8.0 but
I don't understand why there is no help for new users that choice plesk? All I get to hear is that or the person that buy the licence get help.. well thats a reseller who sold it to the guy where I did hire the server... so no support for me other then pay a lot of money without knowing what to get. (other then mail what is no use to me)

Why does plesk not have help for new users to make sure that all little problems like unsecure servers and wrong setting that people tent to make (they are only people) to help them befor they give plesk a bad name or swsoft?

Also have a problem with spamassassin that is installed but all the exciting mail doens't have it only the new mail adresses I make have it? why isn't it server wide?

I believe that support MUST cost and not be included to any product.

So you have 2 ways

a) RTFM rule (Read The Funky manual)
b) Pay for support (and rest ease)

BUT I believe the paid support (even the platinum partnership channel) doesn't worth the money because it is slow as hell.

Dear friend I believe that if you have a company (big or small) you should hire a sys admin for security issues. About the configuration is something that you will deside

I agree to a point with what you are telling, but SWsoft tells people there is support in the first month when they take plesk....(not)

And that not all is written in the manual I think you would agree with me...

Point is that if it is so hard to make use or the first month of support when you have a dedicated server somewhere else then from SWsoft.

And prices they ask for support are very high not even sure if the support is worth it to use. And mail isn't always that clear and always open for people the read with there own thinking of what is writen...

I believe they should not offer something that is hard (or imposseble) to get after you get take a server with plesk but
should mention that outfront before make a choice that they don't give support but that people have to buy (even not sure what they buy in the firstplace)

BTW the at_domain_index.html wasn't in the manual....
