  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

BUG: Migration Manager - external Databases

Regular Pleskian
Target Server: Plesk, 10.0.1, Centos 5, x86_64
Source Server: Plesk, 8.1.1, Fedora Core 1, i386

We tried to migrate our old Plesk Server to the new one with the help of the migration manager. The Migration Manager did not migrate external Database Connection - it did backup the external ressources and inserted them as local Databases ...
As all the Web-Applications still link to the external Databeses this behaviour is wrong.

Hope you fix this soon.
