• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Can I go back to 8.1.1?

8.2 is not working ok. Is there a wy to load 8.2 backup to 8.1.1? Would it work?

I am desperate. There is not a single guy here from SWSoft who can help me.

I do not advise going to 8.2 at this point!

Plesk does not provide a way to rollback major upgrade.
8.2 backup cannot be restored on 8.1.

You may try to do it manually. You should

1. create backup in 8.2
2. unzip backup file
3. find info.xml
4. find element <psadump>
5. change attribute psaversion from 8.2 to 8.1.1
6. zip backup file
7. try to restore it on 8.1.1

I try not to uninstall 8.2 beccause last time I did it didn't finish completely, I had to reformat the machine. Errors (freezes of application pool) still occur, it is documented in this thread:

http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46332

It started as soon as I upgraded to 8.2. The debugger pointes to one of your libraries :-(
