I got a message when i try to apply system updates:

The information on some packages may be out of date, as some inconsistencies have been detected in the system package manager database. Please resolve them manually.

root@mail:~# dpkg --audit
The following packages are missing the md5sums control file in the
database, they need to be reinstalled:
module-init-tools transitional dummy package (module-init-tools to kmod)
How can i resolve this issue to get the latest updates.
