• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

Want to know about webmail. As Plesk CP offers webmail interface for mails. But its accessible as http://webmail.domainname.com, and one has to provide login credentials, which I think is non-secure, can it be made as https://webmail.domainname.com, so that user credentials will be safe.
Hope this short description about my problem will explain the situation which needs to be secured :)

Hello Tanmaya,

Thank you for the report. The feature is queued for the future releases.

Any update on this?

Hello,

I am following up on the post from 9 months ago. Is this feature currently available?

It appears to be a pretty glaring security risk sending webmail login information in an unsecure manner. If a webmail account becomes compromised then any information in their email is now exposed.

Thanks!
