New Pleskian
Hello all,
We deployed a Plesk server with IONOS a few months ago. It's currently running Plesk Obsidian 18.0.74 Update #3 - Previously it was running 18.0.71
When we restart within 24 hours it becomes inaccessible via the Plesk control panel and websites are not accessible. UPTIME ROBOT alerts saying sites are down, and they are.
I must log into IONOS portal and restart server via IONOS. I do this and everything is fine, but within 24 hours it goes down.
The only solution I found as a temporary solution is to go into SSH terminal and perform "plesk repair web -y" and it will fix until I restart the server again. Example is the past 43 days it ran with no issues, but last night when I updated to 18.0.74 by this morning it was down again.
I believe the issue is IP related.
The server was assigned a static IPv4. It is a shared IP with 70+ domains. I purchased an additional IPv6 and assigned it to the domains. It's this shared IP that fails/goes down.
I purchased another IP address for a domain that needed a dedicated static IPv4 and IPv6 and assigned it to the specific domain and it never goes down. So while all 70+ sites are down, this one specific site with its own dedicated IPv4/6 does not go down. I can access WordPress, browse the site, contact forms work, etc.
I've explained the issue by phone to IONOS team multiple times and we never make any progress.
I'm hoping someone may have some insight into the issue.
IONOS will not escalate to Plesk because they cannot replicate issue (because it goes down hours later).
IONOS checked logged files multiple times and found no issues.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Helps!
Thank you!!
