• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Cannot enable WWW from Domain Administrator

ProWebS

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I face something stranger,

one of my clients did add a domain in his plesk 9.5.x account but forgot to click WWW in the creation process.

I knew that this was no problem since you can go at "Domain Administrator Access" and click on WWW
but in this case the box next to WWW is faded...

Any idea why is that happening ? and what can I do to enable WWW (in a way to avoid erasing and setup again the whole domain).

thank you.

Make sure that the domain administrator account has "DNS zone management" permission. It is required to be able to manage "www" prefix and DNS settings. See the domain administrator's account permissions on the "Domains->domain.tld->Domain Administrator" page in Plesk CP.

I did check that, DNS zone management is enabled.
Still now change.
Why would that happen ?

Also why it should be checked inside domain admin since I'm logged as admin ?
