cannot login with root

Hi,

Something weird happened (installing ATmail) but I don't know what happened...

I had to restore access to plesk using the power panel (change plesk password). I cannot login to plesk with user root anymore. I can login with user admin, giving me root access.

However: many folders are owned by root and I cannot adjust permissions (assuming because i am user admin).

How can I restore the user root?
