• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Hello

I had some kind of attack in my server where SPAM was sent via some localhost script. I fixed it and then manually disabled mail relaying for localhost on the mail server (ME). Then i realized alert messages were not comming out Plesk so i went server>email settings and found out that you are NOT supposed to "remove localhost from the list of networks that have no relay restrictions"

how come? wasn't it safer that way?.

Is there a workaround?

thank you very much,

M

this is an important issue. Pleask is askingme to make my mail server more vulnerable to spam if i want notifications. Is this right? is there a workaround?

thank you.

next time i have 15 hundred dollars to spend on a control panel i will check their support first. Plesk did not fulfill my expectations.

Did you tried contact Plesk Support Team with your question? And why you still use very old Plesk version?

because upgrades are expensive. But i think us the only way to go. However i now see that theres no way to buy a yearly SUS without something very expensive called "reinstatement" ?? omg

and maybe after all that money and 2 years one single "the first" one SPAM will be cough by spam filters-

thanks.

I'm not familiar with licensing questions. Therefore I can suggest you only contact your sales representative and try to find the best solution for you with your sales :)
