Cannot mass change IP address in Plesk 11

    Hello,

I´m trying to mass change IP address in Plesk 11 according as http://kb.parallels.com/943 but I got the following error:

    # /usr/local/psa/bin/reconfigurator.pl ipaddresses.map
    Adding venet0 5.5.5.5 255.255.255.255...
    venet0: no such network interface.
    /opt/psa/admin/bin/ifmng --add venet0 5.5.5.5 255.255.255.255: exited with non-zero code 256

I tried the solution in http://kb.parallels.com/en/113416 with the same result.

There is any limitation to use venet0 instead of eth0?

    Regards,
    Horacio

You can't add IP to network interface inside VPS. It can be done only from Virtuozzo hardware node.

I just assigned a new IP to the container and need to mass change IP in Plesk domains, but I can´t.

Was my error. I changed from bridged to routed and use venet0 i both cases instead of eth0 --> venet0
