Resolved can't change plesk admin password

When i will change the admin password in Plesk-Panel or in the Shell, i became an Error:

copy_file failed: copy_file: System Error: invalid file paths in /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/copy_file: /var/lib/psa/tmp2/tmp/nsfJHYSmL /etc/psa/.psa.shadow
System error 2: No such file or directory

What can i do to set a new admin password?

did you already tried to use the "Plesk repair utility" ?

=> Plesk Repair Utility ( Plesk Onyx - Administrator's Guide )

( If you already tried the Plesk repair, pls. provide as well the corresponding repair - log ( => "/var/log/plesk" )​

i'm running plesk repair installation (see attachement). What is the APSC DB? In the console he give me the following error:

What is kavehost?

Hi Finulin,

according to your error:

Connection to APSC DB is not possible: ODBC error #01000: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so' : file not found

You need to re-install a missing library. Pls. use the corresponding KB - article to solve this issue:

=> Unable to access Application Vault: Can't open lib '/usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so' : file not found ( official Plesk - KB - article )​

But ( !!! ), as you can see as well in your error - log, Plesk already seemed to repair that, because you could further read:

WARNING!
Some problems are found during fix credentials for APS controller database(see log file: /var/log/plesk/install/plesk_12.5.30_repair.log)

Continue...

===> Cumulative APS controller upgrade and repair (final stage) has been started.
Upgrade or repair for 'apsc' (stage 'post') is not required
===> Cumulative upgrade and repair of APS controller (final stage) has been completed.

Pls. restart your repair procedure, to see in the next repair - log, that all issues have been solved - if not, pls. continue with the resolution(s) from the mentioned KB - article above and restart afterwards the repair - procedure again.

What is kavehost?

"kavehost" is the service "Kaspersky Antivirus". Pls. try to solve your described issue first by un- and re-installing this Plesk package and see as well the corresponding log - file, located at: => "/usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog"

I'm solved all issue in the log-file, but i have still the same problem and error-message:

Fehler: Administratorpasswort kann nicht geändert werden: copy_file failed: copy_file: System Error: invalid file paths in /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/copy_file: /var/lib/psa/tmp2/tmp/nsfMp27wD /etc/psa/.psa.shadow
System error 2: No such file or directory

Same error-message in plesk-panel or in console ...

Make sure that /var/lib/psa/tmp2/tmp/ is not symlink. This path looks suspicious. Check this path in output of

Looks like some kind of customization. There shouldn't be /var/lib/psa/tmp2/ directory and /var/lib/psa/tmp2/tmp/ shouldn't be used.
Try to find where you have specified it and revert this customization back.

I had a symlink in /usr/local/psa/tmp -> /var/lib/psa/tmp2/tmp

this was the temp-dir for backups. i set it back and reconfigure /etc/psa/psa.conf (changing DUMP_TMP_D to /var/lib/psa/tmp2/tmp)

Now everything seems to work well. Thanks to all
