• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Dear All,

On a brand new 9.3.0 PPP server I get this error whenever I try to change PPP admin password :

ERROR: PleskFatalException

copy_file failed: copy_file: System Error: invalid file paths in /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/copy_file /var/local/psa/tmp/nsfQcPh2m /etc/psa/.psa.shadow:

0: cmd_server.php3:95
ch_admin_pass(string '*********', string '********')
1: ch_pass.php3:34
require(string '/usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/server/ch_pass.php3')
2: plesk.php:51

Do you know a workaround ?

Thanks

Thanks ! I have to learn looking in your KB !!!

Has said in the article I have a symbolic link on /var/local/psa/tmp/

In fact I should relocate PRODUCT_ROOT.

The article tells how to do it but it applies to Plesk 8.x for Linux/Unix, is it still valid for PPP 9.3.0 ?

Yes, I think that it should be valid for 9.x too.
