• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Can't change size of mailbox

pablofrp

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

I can not change the quota of email boxes.
I do not have subscription in plesk.

So I tried in SSH :
plesk bin mail --update [email protected] -mbox_quota 900M

But I have this reponse :

Unable to set the mailbox size limit for the domain: The size of this mailbox must not exceed the limit on amount of disk space allocated for mailboxes in this domain.

exit status 1

Any idea ?

Plesk Onyx - Version 17.8.11
Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS

Thank you

It tells you right in the message you pasted. You can't raise a single mailbox size higher than what is set for the subscription. You would need to raise the limit on the subscription instead.
