Issue Can't create git repositories anymore

Hello there,

on one of our servers it's not possible anymore to create a local git repository. I tried different domains and it always fails with a error 500.

There is no error on the plesk-UI, only the browser console displays it. I already looked in any logfile know to me, but i can't find any information about what's going wrong.

Any help is appreciated!

Have you checked /var/log/plesk/panel.log for errors that are related to this issue?

Thanks for your reply. I checked this file now and it turns out the password used for the user was being rejected because it was to weak.

So creating a repository works now, but pushing fails.

I tried setting a new password for this user, but that doesn't help. Login via SSH/FTP works fine, so i don't know why the basic http-auth for git is failing.
