Resolved can't edit pages while in Maintenance Mode

iamchuckles

New Pleskian
Hi
I can't edit pages while in Maintenance Mode. Is this normal? If Yes, how do I make changes to my site offline?
Thanks
Chuck

You are probably referring to Wordpress and the built-in "Maintenance Mode" feature in Plesk's Wordpress Toolkit? In this case: Yes, unfortunately it is normal that you cannot work with the site in that mode. You can edit settings without logging in to Wordpress. If you need to login to Wordpress for your changes, it may be better to install a splash page or maintenance mode plugin in Wordpress, e.g. but not limited to WP Maintenance Mode & Coming Soon

Exactly right, Peter. Not the answer I hoped for, but definitely the answer I needed. At least now I know what I need to do do. Thanks very much.
