• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Can't find qmail-qstat

Justin Clarke

Regular Pleskian
As per this article: http://kb.odin.com/en/158 I cannot find qmail-qstat in /var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat

In /var/qmail I have the folders:

mailnames (contains folders for all domains on the server)
popuser (this is empty)

If I go into any of the domain folders inside mailnames there is no qmail-qstat, only a .qmail file

Any ideas?

I'm trying to find the file so I can script something that tells me how many messages are in the queue.

Thanks.

Seems you have Postfix MTA installed instead Qmail. Check it.

Mentioned file is a part of psa-qmail package:

# rpm -qf /var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat
psa-qmail-1.03-cos5.build93091230.06

You can list Postfix mail queue with

# postqueue -p

('man postqueue' for details)
