Resolved Can't install Plesk on Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04

Hello community,

I have two vm (VMWare), one with Ubuntu 18.04 the other is Ubuntu 20.04. Both are fresh installs.
For both I have tried multiple times to install plesk, but I always run into errors.

I have tried

sh <(curl https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer || wget -O - https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer)

and also

wget https://autoinstall.plesk.com/plesk-installer
chmod +x plesk-installer
sh ./plesk-installer

both variants fail on both vm. The logfiles are attached.

Of course I did an

apt-get update --fix-missing
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade

and retried the installation but with the same result.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

seems you having network/firewall issues since it fails to connect to the ubuntu and plesk repos:

That is right. It was the Sophos webfilter. Did not know that the webfilter would block apt-get
