• The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question sw-engine fix for CVE-2026-109618/109619 on Plesk 18.0.72 (Ubuntu 18.04)?

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.72 Update 3
Hi, thanks for the quick fixes for the PHP handlers.

Question about sw-engine on older installs: my server runs Plesk Obsidian 18.0.72.3 on Ubuntu 18.04
(the latest version the installer offers for this OS). The PHP handlers (8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27 and
the 7.4 build of 21 Oct) installed fine, but sw-engine remains unpatched.

Is a sw-engine hotfix planned for 18.0.72 / Ubuntu 18.04, or is the dist-upgrade to a supported OS
the only way to get the panel fixed? In the meantime, is setting session.upload_progress.enabled = 0
in sw-engine's php.ini a reasonable interim mitigation?

Thanks!

Do you have the "The Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS)" and is the TuxCare ELS extension active?
Log in to Plesk using your administrator credentials. Then go to Tools & Settings > License Information, and check the status of the TuxCare service license.
