  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Can't login with the admin account

I`m having trouble to login into the admin account with the plesk panel.

"Error: Authentication failed: invalid username or password specified"

The password is correct and proved with "/opt/psa/bin/admin --show-password"

Is the loginname for the adminaccount changed to another name?

Another strange fact is that the loginpage is redirecting me since the last update.

Need some help :(

I can login with all other accounts, only the admin account has this problem.

Set new administrative password using command /usr/share/plesk-billing/update-admin --password=<new password>

Ok it worked now. Is there a easy way to deinstall the buisness manager?

# rpm -e sw-sso plesk-billing plesk-billing-plugins
error: package sw-sso is not installed
error: package plesk-billing is not installed
error: package plesk-billing-plugins is not installed

o.o?

Is this a right server to execute these commands?
Maybe you have a number of Plesks and Business Manager is installed only on one of them, others are attached as remote panels?

Plesk is on my rootserver and i tryed the command with the root account. There aren't other servers.

What I can say... In this case it looks like CBM and SSO are already removed.
Are you still able to log in to Plesk and click on any CBM link?

There is just this message:

Information: Customer and Business Manager was successfully installed but it requires additional configuration. Click here to complete the installation.

No Links and i cant access the CBM

Try to go to Tools & Settings > Server Components and click refresh.
Then check the status for "plesk-billing" component and the link you've talked about. If the package is actually not installed, the link must disappear.
