  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hi

My server normally looks after it's self and installs all updates as it needs them. However just recently i've been getting a daily email telling me there is a problem updating to the latest Plesk. I am don't know Linux enough to have a wander around to fix issues, but would appreciate any pointers to fix this.

The email i get is

Some problems occurred with the System Updates tool on your server server.xxxxxxxxxxxxr.co.uk. Please resolve them manually.

I've tried to do it manually, but get a very similar message in the Plesk control panel. I've tried researching the error too, not getting anything I can follow that makes a difference.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

I got a real long email about a load of successful updates this morning rather then the usual problem email which is great. The Plesk version still looks the same though v18.0.34 26 March. There does seem to be a later one, but checking for updates in Plesk doesn't show it. is it something i am doing wrong, or does these updates take quite some time?

Thanks

That makes sense now. I only have v16.04. V18/04 is required, so will look at getting the latest version on my server.
Thank you for your help
