• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Can't upgrade from 10.4.4 to 11.x on Ubuntut 8.04.4 LTS

Hello,

I tried to upgrade Plesk from Version 10.4.4 #41 to Plesk 11.x but autoinstaller doesn't provide the upgrade option.

According to the Plesk Lifecycle Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS is supported by Plesk 11:

http://www.parallels.com/products/plesk/lifecycle

I updated all Ubuntu packages and did a licence key update.

Are there any other requirements for upgrading to Plesk 11.x?

Thanks!
Chris

Thanks for your quick reply, but interesting, then there is a discrepancy between the lifecycle and the release notes. The question is which one has the correct information?

Moreover the release notes contain some information on Ubuntu 8.04

In Virtuozzo environment, the IPv6 support on Ubuntu 8.04 (TLS) is provided only in Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 (and not provided in later versions).

Igor, could you please verify which information is correct?

Thanks!
