  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Catch all subdomain

Is it possible to catch all subdomains of a domain? ("http//anything.mydomain.com" point to "http//mydomain.com")

I have a solution now where every non existant sub-domain lands on the default website, for each virtual domain on a certain IP. (So all the websites land on 1 place). I would like to set it up per domain.

I read this one but there is no conf/vhost.conf on my machine.

You have to create the vhost.conf file. It is not there by default.

I do use version 7.5.4 so I don't know if it is the same as your version.

I placed the file in /var/www/vhosts/<mydomain>/conf/

Then take the steps of here and it should work.

I added the CNAME in the dns of Plesk. Don't know the underlying system.
