CentOS, CloudLinux and Plesk supported versions?

N_Vas

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

I'm going to be installing for the first time:
CentOS, CloudLinux and Plesk

- What is currently the recommended/supported versions of CentOS, CloudLinux and Plesk that work best together?

- Drives : This will on a virtual machine so I have some flexibility, Is it better to have one drive on the machine or to have two drives with /var on a 2nd drive?

- I found this doc for partition guidelines but it doesn't mention if a /home partition is needed or how large it's recommended?

- The installer guide below mentions "If you run Debian, CloudLinux, or Ubuntu, add updates and security repositories to your apt (package manager) configuration."

On CentOS does any repository info for CloudLinux need to be added anywhere?

Thank you in advance

Thanks, what about the repository.

The Plesk install guide says:

  • If you run Debian, CloudLinux, or Ubuntu, add updates and security repositories to your apt (package manager) configuration.

We are running CloudLinux on CentOS. There are two package managers (rpm and yum, apt doesn't seem to be installed by default). Which package manager do we need to add the CloudLinux repositories to?

Thank you
