CGI and windows

Hi,

Does plesk control panel support CGI and PHP? and does it work only with IIS for webserver? or can be use with apache as wel? I did install 8.2 for windows (web install) and It using IIS as web server.

Hello Shahin,

As far as i know plesk only works with IIS web server on windows. You can run php as a CGI on windows. Plesk provides option for it in domain setup area itself.

Hello Shahin,

Plesk does support cgi and isapi for php and these can be selected from the domain name -> setup section of the control panel. Eventhough isapi is faster it does have perfomance issues.

Also the control panel supports only IIS as the webserver for websites. Please note that you do have the option of running only the control panel on apache.
