• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,
I am using Fedora with Plesk 8.0.

I need to change the default port of Apache Web Server to 8091.
I made the change in httpd.conf file.

However, my domains are not accessible through Plesk after I make this change.

For ex, before changing the port. I referred to my website as
http://www.example.com
After changing the port, I should be able to refer to the website as
http://www.example.com:8091 through Plesk. But it does not seem to work. I am receiving Page cannot be displayed error.

Is there any change required in Plesk or its files to make Plesk point to Apache at port 8091?

Can someone help pls???
Regards

Did you restart the apache server after you changed this?

When adding domains with Plesk, it binds to the default port (80) regardless of your global "port" definition in httpd.conf. This is on the plesk side, not the apache side. Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to change this setting at this time. Perhaps an e-mail to swsoft will get you the added option for up-coming releases...
